The 16-Pin Guitar Upgrade Kit moves your 13-Pin GK guitar into the 21st century! Historically GK-3 and 13-pin jacks & cables have fragility, grounding and noise issues detrimental to live performance. The 16-pin upgrade eliminates all existing issues with robust jack & plug designs. Guitarists with multiple 13-pin guitars may not want to switch to the new BOSS serial system due to cost and other issues, or may want to continue to use proven 13-pin synths without serial-analog conversion.

The upgrade kit consists of the following:

• 16-Pin guitar connector with cable assembly, plug and play for GK-3 Internal Board

• 16-Pin guitar cable, available in different lengths 

• 16-Pin to 13-Pin Adapter Box

The 16-pin guitar connector with cable assembly is made by Synth-Linx and is also a direct replacement for Synth-Linx 13-pin GK-3 internal installations. It is also available in custom lengths for DIY new GK-3 internal kit installations.

The 16-pin guitar cables are available in 3-, 5-, and 7-meter standard lengths with option for right-angle plug at guitar end. Custom lengths are available.

The 16- to 13-pin Adapter Box fits on a pedalboard for interfacing with existing GK synths using a short length of 13-pin cable. 13-pin cable connector options are straight-straight and angled-angled.
