Hex Distortion Pickup with Mono Output and Distortion Control CVs
This active pickup replaces a standard Humbucker pickup and produces an output ranging from clean (like a boost) to full distortion. The two-stage distortion circuits are built-in; gain levels for each stage are individually controlled by control voltages that can be fixed (preset) or variable. See accessories below.
Main features include: EMG-style solderless connections, trimpots for upper string volume mixing, and selectable treble filter. Power requirement is 9V (preferred) to 18V. Can be either battery powered or via external power supply as with the Cycfi Research Nu Internal Board and 19-pin LEMO-compatible cable.

Hex Distortion Pickup with Mono Output, Individual String Distorted Outputs, and Distortion Control CVs
The same circuitry and features as the Mono Distortion Pickup and additional buffered (unity gain) individual string distorted outputs, controlled by CV.
Ideal for single-string processing (with SynQuaNon 13- or 19-pin Input Breakout Modules or in DAWs) with appropriate amplification. If pitch detection is not needed, this pickup functions well in any position on the guitar.

Hex Distortion Pickup with Mono Output, Clean Individual String Outputs, and Distortion Control CVs
The same circuitry and features as the Mono Distortion Pickup and additional buffered (unity gain) individual coil outputs.
Ideal as a replacement for GK-style pickups; interfaces directly to GK-style Internal boards to provide a clean signal usable for pitch detection and in GK guitar synthesizers. The main advantage is ease of installation (replaces bridge humbucker) and a mono output that sounds fantastic (unlike the GK-style hexaphonic pickups).
Also suitable for single-string processing (with SynQuaNon 13-pin Input Breakout Modules or with audio interfaces connected to DAWs).

Accessories for all pickups
Dual Distortion CV Pot with Custom Taper Programming
Custom tapers, including linear, audio, and anti-log are easily programmed by shorting a single solder bridge for each type. In addition, high and/or low pot endpoint CVs and output resistor are selectable in the same manner for maximum control flexibility.

Single Distortion CV Pot with Custom Taper Programming
Use two of these to control both distortion stages or combine one with the Distortion CV Switch for both a set of presets and a variable distortion control.

Single Distortion Switch
Use one of these three-way switches to create three presets for a single distortion stage. Combine one with the Single Distortion CV pot for both a set of presets and a variable distortion control.

Cable for Hex Clean Output to GK-3
Use this cable to connect the Hex Distortion Pickup with Mono Output and Clean Individual String Outputs to a Roland/BOSS GK Internal Board. It plugs directly into the connector socket for a GK-3 pickup.
The guitar GK output can be connected to a Roland/BOSS GK synth or a SynQuaNon 13-pin Input Breakout Module for further processing.

Cable for Hex Distortion Output to Nu Internal Board
This cable allows you to connect the Hex Distortion Pickup with Mono Output and Distorted Individual String Outputs to a Cycfi Research Nu Internal Board. The outputs are routed via a 19-pin LEMO-style connector to the Cycfi Research Nexus Breakout Box or a SynQuaNon 19-pin Input Breakout module where they are available for further processing.
